ResourceMAP Dual Language English/Spanish Edition

ResourceMAP: English/Spanish Edition is an NSF-funded project that has developed 19 secondary-level mathematics modules that can be used to help prepare students who speak English or Spanish for high-stakes test questions.
The modules are relatively short and designed for flexible implementation; that is, they can be used in regular classes as well as in special test-preparation settings. Each module contains a set of contextual problems in several formats: multi-part open response, short response, and multiple-choice. Accompanying the problem set are tip sheets which include lists of formulas, calculator instruction, and brief reviews of the module’s underlying mathematics. Also provided are teacher notes (the module’s purpose, the mathematical focus, and implementation commentary), answers to all problems, and, where appropriate, handout masters. Enclosed in the sampler you will find:

• A matrix of titles in English and Spanish
• A sample module titled Basic Algebra in English and Spanish
• A ResourceMAP order form
