The UMAP Journal
Undergraduate Mathematics and Its Applications |
|
The UMAP Journal, published quarterly and available electronically with COMAP membership,
blends contemporary teaching modules with commentaries and articles
to create a boldly different periodical. Each issue puts several
real-world problems under a mathematical lens, and demonstrates
how real people are using mathematics in their jobs and lives. Whether
it is exploring an elegant explanation of price-elasticity of illegal
drugs, or the strategic implications of disarming the U.S. nuclear
arsenal, The UMAP Journal is the modeling journal for anyone
interested in applied mathematics. Members can access the current and back issues of the Journal online.

The International Journal for the History of
Mathematics Education |
|
The Journal is biannual, approximately 100 pages, and contains editorials, research papers, book reviews, and short "notes" sections. The major aim of this journal is to provide mathematics teaching and mathematics education with its memory, in order to reveal the insights achieved in earlier periods (ranging from Ancient time to the late 20th century) and to unravel the fallacies of past events (e.g., reform euphoria).
