Computer Problem Solving (UMAP)

A unit that will enable the student to: 1) explain the concept of algorithm; 2) distinguish algorithms from non-algorithmic solution descriptions; 3) read and explain algorithms written in the flow-chart language; and 4) state the seven steps in computer problem solving and apply them in solving simple problems.
